INDOLIN ■ The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore informed that there were 77 cases of COVID-19 (corona virus) in the country based on data obtained from the Ministry of Health there.
The Head of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore's Social and Political Affairs Office, Ratna Lestari Harjana, through a press release on Tuesday (2/18/2020), said that until Monday (2/17/2020) at 12.00 local time, the Singapore Government confirmed 2 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"This number increases the total positive cases of COVID-19 in Singapore to 77 cases," Ratna said.
The Singapore government also announced 5 patients were declared cured and discharged. That way, as many as 24 people have recovered from being infected with COVID-19 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, 53 patients were stated to be in stable condition and 4 were in ICU care. The local government also determined 5 clusters of transmission of COVID-19, based on local government tracking, namely the Life Church and Missions Singapore cluster (146B Paya Lebar Road), Yong Thai Hang medical shop cluster (24 Cavan Road), Grand Hyatt Singapore cluster, Seletar cluster Aerospace Heights construction site and Grace Assembly of God Church cluster.
The Indonesian Embassy reminded that Indonesian citizens in the five locations to be proactive through responsible actions, immediately contact a doctor if they experience symptoms.
The Indonesian Embassy also calls on Indonesian citizens residing in Singapore to remain calm, be careful and act responsibly, maintain personal health and hygiene.
"Periodically wash your hands after doing activities in public spaces, avoiding crowded places when not urgent, immediately see a doctor if you experience symptomatic, while continuing to monitor the development of the corona virus through the official line of the Ministry of Health," Ratna said.
